When I left school I went straight into an apprenticeship doing my level 2 hairdressing, I trained in a salon for 3 years finished my level 2 & 3 and decided to change my career. I went on to do estate agency and fell pregnant with my daughter, while on maternity leave I decided to do a hair extensions course, just for a hobby and because my mum and sisters always wore hair extensions. I begin to advertise and seem to get busier and busier I then went on to open a salon with my three sisters after working from home for 3 years. The salon was amazing but we all needed a bigger salon for all three of us. I then went on to open my own salon called Blended By paige, which is everything I’ve always wanted ever, I never thought I would have my own salon. Since having Blended we have now opened another shop next door which is dedicated to hairdressing and the other side being beauty, the business has grown a lot in the last 6 years. All the girls are self employed within the salon and they work in the salon are amazing and work so hard.

I have now been doing hair extensions 9 years and hairdressing for 12 years in total.
